Meditative Moments is a series of short nature videos set to music by Charlestown resident Betty Caldwell, from photographs that she has taken. She developed the series as a way to share her sense of connection with the awe and beauty of nature. Other Charlestown residents have also contributed their work to this series. Residents’ feedback has indicated that the videos provide a sense of calm through the beauty of nature.
The Residents’ Council Communications Committee ran its Communications Survey from April 1 to May 5, 2023. 573 responses were received. This was the third of these surveys, as earlier ones were run in 2014 and 2019. We were looking to see how communications preferences and available methods have changed over time.

Volunteers needed July 25 -26 for unpacking of women’s clothing, purses, holiday, and treasure island items in preparation for the Treasure Sale which takes place July 27 -29, 2023.
