Benevolent Care

Benevolent Care provides assistance with the health care and living expenses of residents whose personal financial resources, including their entrance deposit, have been depleted. The fund offers peace of mind to all who live at Charlestown. Volunteers and staff work year round to secure donations for Benevolent Care so residents are assured a home for life at Charlestown. The community receives gifts for Benevolent Care from individuals through planned gifts, donations of entrance deposits and through a variety of special events throughout the year.
Foundation Builders are residents that pledge a monthly amount to Benevolent Care. The Pledge amounts can be made through the monthly billing statement. Download the Donation Form. Gifts to Benevolent Care are 100% tax-deductible as allowed by law. Checks can be made payable to Charlestown Benevolent Care Fund. Credit Cards are also accepted. Those who pledge $25/month or donate $300/yr or more become members of the “Treat of the Quarter” club and will receive treats/goodies 4 times per year.
Be sure you are on Amazon Smile when you do all of your online shopping!
Amazon purchases can include a donation that will be made to the charity of your choice using Amazon Smile. “Charlestown Community, Inc.” is now a registered charity you can select and all proceeds go directly to the Benevolent Care Fund.
