This year is the 38th Program anniversary of the Charlestown Scholars’ Program, which is primarily funded by donations from our residents. These donations enable us to provide two types of scholarships. This year we have a higher number of Scholar Candidates than we have had in recent years: 33 Traditional and 3 One Year Candidates!
The Edgewood elevator near the Terrace Café will be out of service for maintenance Mon., Mar. 2 – Tues., Mar. 3, 2026. It will be out of service from 8 AM – 4 PM , Wed., Mar. 3 – Fri., Mar. 6 , but available during the evening and overnight.

Readers’ Theatre will work on Rosemary Frisino Toohey’s fun play, “Cosmic Fruit Bowl” on Thurs. Feb. 26, 2026 from 1-3 PM in the Auditorium. This play along the playwright’s “Socks” will be presented March 26.
