Wendel Thompson, Co-Leader
Progressives Together is a group of residents who are vitally concerned about current issues which affect not only those of us who live at Charlestown, but our children, grandchildren, and indeed, the world. We help each other stay abreast of what is happening, both locally and nationally, in the life of our country. We also plan actions so our voices can be heard. New members and visitors are welcome!

At the bottom of this message is the information you need for the SW Democrats meeting with Pat Young which is on Tuesday this week at 7:30. There is also a link to join. I think it’s worth supporting the group. They do good work and it’s not very expensive.
Our December meeting is on 12/2 at 4:00 in City Lights. It is an informal social hour. Please bring some easy to handle small snacks to share and your own drinks, or drinks to share if you wish. I’ll bring small plates, forks and cups. City Lights is on the top floor of Harborview/Caton Ridge, very near the elevator. Greetings Fellow Democrats!
The Killer Clowns are invading D.C. What do we do now? Let’s talk about it at our next meeting on Tuesday. Also at that meeting we are happy to have Pat Young, our County Councilman speak and answer questions about the issues facing the council, including the selection of an interim County Executive, redistricting, land use and more. (See Details Below)
This just in! Jyoti Mohan, President of Mobilize! Asian Americans of Baltimore, and the Democratic Club of Baltimore County are hosting a Forum for those seeking the nomination for Interim County Executive. It’s up to the Council to select this person, but we can see who we are dealing with and ask them questions. (See Details Below)
AND… the legendary Holiday Party! (See Details Below)
P.S.- If you haven’t already…it’s time to pay your dues and join the elite!
