Meeting Frequency & Location
The semi annual meetings are now scheduled for the Charlestown Square Gallery at 11:00 am-noon on April 25, 2023 and October 17, 2023. Other meetings as needed.
The Maryland Continuing Care Residents Association has a Chapter at Charlestown. MaCCRA is the only organization which is solely dedicated to protecting and advancing the interests of residents of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). We support, empower, and better the lives of residents in Maryland’s continuing care retirement communities through advocacy and education. Charlestown becomes the 18th chapter in Maryland. Membership is $20 per year for an individual and $30 for a couple. The membership year is July to July.

MaCCRA is affiliated with the National Continuing Care Residents Association (NaCCRA). Membership is $25 per year for an individual and $45 for a couple. The website is naccra.com

Webinar: What Financial Solvency Means for CCRC’s

This webinar will provide Charlestown residents with an overview of CCRC financial metrics, what they mean and a discussion of CCRC hardship and bankruptcy cases.
A brief business meeting will be held prior to the webinar re: Election of officers, treasurer and membership reports.
