CHUG In-Person Meetings for October 2024
Apple
Monday, October 7, 2024 | 11 AM | Brookside Classroom 1
This program will go over the features of your operating system. Apple has just released IOS18 for iphones, IPadOS18 for iPads, MACOS Sequioa for MACs. What are some of the new features in this operating system? Is your device recent enough to support this upgrade. If it is, how long after the OS comes out should you wait to upgrade? If not, some of the basics of the operating system will be covered as well. An important thing to consider is where your phone is recent enough to receive security updates even if it can’t upgrade to the latest operating system.
The group meets in Brookside Classroom 1 and can provide hands on help. This session is for all Apple devices.
Windows/Android
Monday, October 14, 2024 | 11 AM | Brookside Classroom 1
This program will go over the features of your operating system. Are you still using Windows 10? When should you upgrade to Windows 11? Why should you upgrade to Windows 11? What should you know about your operating system. What operating system are you using on your Android phone? How does its upgrades work?
The group meets in Brookside Classroom 1 and can provide hands on help. This session is for all Windows devices (laptops, desktops, and some tablets), and Android based phones and tablets.
