After a thorough study (organized by the Council Conservation Committee) of how Charlestown can encourage more sustainable practices, the Grounds Committee with help from staff, the Invasive Species and Nature Trail groups, and other residents is working on implementation of some of the recommendations made in the Sustainable Grounds Report.
The report provides an overview of sustainable landscaping practices and their benefits for both Charlestown and the environment.
