Speaker: Dr. Yvette Mozie-Ross
All residents are welcome to attend!
Join Dr. Yvette Mozie-Ross, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Planning at UMBC, for an enlightening conversation about the rapidly changing world of higher education. She will share how colleges like UMBC are responding to the national enrollment challenges brought on by shifting demographics, the lingering effects of the pandemic, and new expectations from students and parents alike.
Dr. Mozie-Ross will also introduce you to today’s college students – how they learn, what motivates them, and how UMBC is meeting them where they are to help them succeed in a dynamic and demanding workforce. Finally, she’ll discuss why financial literacy has never been more essential – not only for students and graduates – but also for those thinking about how their own financial legacy can empower future generations.
