Voting – A Civic Responsibility and Duty

IF you have moved to Charlestown from another location,
IF you have moved from one apartment to another,
IF someone has moved from independent living to a care facility,
IF you wish to change your party affiliation,
YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE UPCOMING ELECTION. An opportunity will be provided on
May 9 at each of Charlestown’s 6 dining rooms. The schedule is as follows:

The League of Women Voters will sponsor this event and staff a table near each dining room. Voter Registration forms, absentee ballot applications, and assistance forms (if you need to help someone) will be made available as well as help with questions and assistance. Registration forms can be obtained from Noreen Christian (see Resident Directory). Your vote counts so be sure that you are eligible to cast your ballot. If you wish to join the League of Women Voters or help at one of the tables, please contact Anne Ogaitis (see Resident Directory). Please consider volunteering for an hour or two.
