Cancer Support Group
Ann MacKay, Leader
The Cancer Support Group started in September 2024 after three residents realized how helpful it was to talk openly about their cancer experiences. What began as a discussion about breast cancer quickly expanded to include anyone living with or affected by any type of cancer.
If you’ve just been diagnosed, are in treatment, or have finished treatment, you’re invited to join us. Every meeting is a safe, confidential space where people come together to talk, listen, and support one another. We don’t give medical advice, but we do share what’s working for us and how we’re coping. Attendance changes from month to month, but there’s always a warm and understanding group waiting to connect.
Open to ALL cancer types, in treatment or completed. Together we’re stronger!
