A position on The Charlestown Board of Directors is currently available for residents of the community. All residents interested in becoming a Board member may submit a Letter of Application.
Applicants must have resided at Charlestown for at least one year and have served on the Resident Council or volunteered in a capacity that provided the opportunity to understand the relationship between the Resident Council, the Administration and the Board of Directors.
How Do You Apply?
Interested residents must provide an application letter to the Chair of the Special Nominating Committee, Stephanie Leddy or any Committee member by March 27, 2026.
The letter of application must say why you wish to become a Board Member and that you are willing to serve on the Board of Directors and include the following:
• Contact information (Name, apartment number, phone number, email address)
• Length of time as a resident of Charlestown
• Educational background
• Volunteer or paid work before or since moving to Charlestown
• Specific skills useful for service on the Board
• Leadership roles held previously or since moving here
• Any particular experiences relevant to effective Board service.
