The Fitness Center teamed hosted a Pie Baking/Guess the Turkey and Gobble Contest for Thanksgiving! With the help from our Executive Director, Don Groves, and the residents and staff, we raised $1,350 for the Southwest Emergency Services and The Marian House.
This year three of our residents, Bob Jacobs, Carol Cook, Joe and Dianne Sullivan and Dotty Reitwiesner joined the pie baking competition with our Charlestown employees (Mary Evans, Tony Monroe, Stephanie Miller, Jenny Hartis, Susan Gibbons and Chef Mary. We had 10 delicious pies entered into the contest. Everyone enjoyed tasting the pies, guessing who was dressed up in the Turkey costume and making fun gobble noises. Congratulations goes out to all the winners listed below:
