Fireside Artists of Charlestown
Sandy Mack, President
In 2010 a small group of Charlestown residents hung some paintings in the Fireside dining room. They became the Fireside Artists. Today, with more than 30 members, the Fireside Artists are residents who enjoy every artistic endeavor: drawing, painting, sculpting, and making jewelry. They currently install a new show in the Gallery in April and October.
Everyone is welcome.

Fireside Artists Art Show at Caton Woods
There is room for 24 Fireside Artists to submit one work of art for the show. We had hoped to be joined by a group of Caton Woods artists, but that is not working out at this time. Maybe later. Fireside Artists will deliver their one piece of art to the Caton Woods lobby on Friday, June 9th at 1 p.m. Art will be displayed with a table top easel, so it should be of an appropriate size.
The art will be displayed in the large meeting room which is locked at night. Denise Puckett, assistant director of Assisted Living at Charlestown, has arranged for wine and cheese, as well as a pianist, during the exhibition.
