Fireside Artists of Charlestown
Sandy Mack, President
In 2010 a small group of Charlestown residents hung some paintings in the Fireside dining room. They became the Fireside Artists. Today, with more than 30 members, the Fireside Artists are residents who enjoy every artistic endeavor: drawing, painting, sculpting, and making jewelry. They currently install a new show in the Gallery in April and October.
Everyone is welcome.

Fireside Artists Plan Fall Activities
Hello Fireside Artist,
Welcome to our exciting fall program lineup:
Invite your friends and neighbors to our Tuesday, Sept. 12th meeting at 10 a.m. in the GALLERY featuring guest speaker Howard Cohen, a contemporary glass art expert. Howard will share his vast knowledge of all forms of glass applied to works of art.
On Tuesday, October 10th, we will travel to the Washington Glass School in Mt. Rainier, MD where we will learn about glass art production from the school’s three directors. Travel details to follow.
At the Tuesday, November 14th meeting, Fireside Artist Harriet Kohl will explain her process for copying masterpieces, some of which we enjoyed during her August Artist of the Month display.
So, you have it – much to be anticipated and much to be enjoyed this fall.
