Many new residents and other PT newcomers were at our meeting last week. More about that meeting in a later email. In spite of the current political challenges, it was good to be together. If you have any thoughts about that meeting or any future meeting, just reply and let me know. It was good to be with you.

Here’s information about Saturday the 18th. If attending protests is not your choice of political resistance, you might think about what you could do instead. We’ll possibly talk about that at our next meeting.

https://www.mobilize.us/ This link will give you information about a variety of protest sites for Saturday’s major national No Kings event. It includes the event at Giant on 40, 10-12 am and the group from Charlestown, 12-1. Scroll down a bit more and you’ll find details about the Charlestown event and a sign making party.

I suggest you call one of the contacts below this message to get on the Charlestown email list for future information.

Roundtrip Bus Fare = $10/person (Previous Fare of $5 was a generous discounted rate!)

Taking the bus leaves more parking space at the Protest site…and a little less pollution.

This will be a huge, nationwide protest organized by Indivisibles with 100’s of coalition partners and their members. Given Trump’s recent outrageous attempt at censorship (the Kimmel debacle) AND the ensuing success of resistance that thwarted the attempt, we urge you to attend this Protest because you are “never too old to speak out!”
