Charlestown Pet Group
Meeting Agenda for March 28, 2023

Open Meeting at 11:00 AM
1.Call for approval of the Minutes of the February 2023 Meeting
2. Words from Otto.
3. Old Business:

It is imperative that all pet owners read and follow the rules as stated in the Resident’s Handbook Appendix E. or we could lose the privilege of having a pet. The book clearly says, “Pets must be on a leash or in a cage at all times when outside your apartment and should never be allowed to run free”. [Mention Parkview issue]

Sandra Flaherty has asked for possible help with Re-Homing Rascal, a mixed breed, probably Lab with a little pit bull. Details are in my Newsletter.

For Scheduled Cat Veterinary visits here at Charlestown, Call Doctor Pam Nesbit @ the Catonsville Cat Clinic directly at: 410-869-0800.

Clinics are Fridays 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM on: 5/19/2023, 7/14/2023, 9/8/2023 and 11/17/2023 in the Cross Creek Craft Room.

Paradise Animal Hospital has suspended their visits here due to the few appointments they are receiving.

4. New Business:

The group has 174 Humans, 127 cats, 71 dogs, 3 birds, a rabbit, and a lizard. Please let Otto know when a resident gets a new pet or loses one.

From Elsie Kemp: One item I need to mention:  my article for the Pet Group did NOT appear in the March Sunburst.  Our date listing and the cat vet date IS in the center calendar listing. The April Article should appear.

Our thanks to Janet MacNab for her somewhat harrowing trip to the SPCA with our donations. Our thanks to her. Janet can provide updates on proper bagging of our donations.

The Charlestown Residents’ Council is looking for Candidates for the upcoming elections. Let me know if you are interested in serving.

The NEXT MEETING is April 25, 2023, always on the 4th Tuesday at 11am in Brookside Classroom #2.
