In the past few months many items have been donated to our group to give to the Maryland SPCA by residents and the treasure sale linens department, items that couldn’t be sold. The SPCA always need towels and all pet supplies. Items for donation can be brought to our meetings. Several people did bring items and those in attendance were invited to take any items the wanted.
There was a complaint about people walking their dogs through the halls and even into the Shortline café. The rules strictly say that pets must be taken from their apartment to the nearest outside door and then back home accordingly.
Dick Crebs has taken pictures of a fox walking through the campus. Please do not leave small pets outside.
The group has 110 cats, 69 dogs, 3 birds, a rabbit, and a lizard. But there is no way to know when a resident gets a new pet or loses one unless they let Otto know.
