Reparations Part 2 (Making Amends)
We will continue our discussion of February 12, 2021. What is meant by reparations? Why talk about it? What would be the benefit of discussing and making repartitions? What is “ H.R. 40, Commision to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans Act?” Are Reparations already being done? Participants will be encouraged to read about Reparations prior to the meeting and then discuss areas of interest.
Everyone is invited to attend this especially important discussion. This will end our monthly meetings for now. We will reconvene in the early Fall. Feel free to alert the committee of any suggestions you might have for continued discussions around the area of Multiracial topics.
