Need Something Fixed or Repaired? General Services contact instructions are found on our website with the current hours, recently changed, under Campus Info>Getting Things Done.

Reoccurring Opportunities for Voicing Concerns: Found listed under the above in Campus Info- Getting Things Done and New Residents. This also runs periodically in the Sunburst under “Tips for New Residents”  All info is now under review and the next posting will be whenever these types of gatherings are convened again. In the meantime, the Council Communication Form icon on our website can be used at any time to alert the Council to a problem.

Resident Directory Info: Found in the Blog Section of our website by entering a subject in the “Search” block on the right side. The hard-copy Resident Directory, including the e-copy, was last published in late March with residents living in CC included under WO and CW. The next Directory will be in June. An article is in the May Sunburst reminding residents how to make changes, and it is on our website under GS Communications. The administration has asked residents to submit their email addresses to the Directory for ease in communicating Admin updates throughout the Community. The My Erickson version is self-correcting with help from the How-To- Guides under Resident Resources but is not a source for Admin updates. A revised ME Directory is being constructed.

Swift Reach: The latest version is found on the website on the Home page, at the bottom left, under the Alert Line info, shown in Blue and includes Swift 911. There is a red Emergency Info icon on the website Home Page that opens to include this info also. The full article, including photos, was in the March Sunburst.

BCF: The April Showcase Jewelry sale proceeds was $1600. The Tin Cup is scheduled for June 14, with sponsorship sold out, but openings for playing are available to anyone, with specific info on our website. The Charlestown Treasure Virtual Sale on FB has specific items on sale regularly. The Earth Day Sale yielded $3,162.  Treasure stores are open at regular scheduled hours. The Ladies Boutique now is offering a “Personal Shopper” service, as described under website Announcements. Treasure Sales have been suspended for now, and collections have ceased since storerooms are full. Memory Walk Brick orders can be placed for the Fall Ceremony.

Community Resources: ME is re-configuring the Dining content, and it is currently in progress. On-line reservations will start 5/24 with “help” tables outside main restaurants with Council Committee members helping residents to understand the process, including packets with important criteria, as well as Infomercials aired on 972. Also, Rose Sands asks Groups/Clubs to confirm their meeting rooms and times. Rose has also asked committees to continue to urge their members and others to add photos to their ME profiles and the CCI website has directions for this under “Tech Help”. Wi-Fi enhancements are continuing.

Medical Center: Zero residents AND Staff have COVID-19; our death count is 23. Masks are still required in certain settings, including the Medical Center. Covid-19 testing is available there. HR is encouraging, not mandating, remaining Staff to get vaccinated. Make a point of getting your Annual Wellness check! May is Mental Health Month  help available for Respite Support and counseling services available to caregivers who can use it. Lisa Roeder is giving a presentation in the Auditorium on Thursday concerning this subject and more. Volunteers are sought to help with the CC Intermissions Program activities.

Move-out Process at End of Life: Found permanently on our website in the Blog area. The article, including the need for an “Authorization for Entry to Living Unit” form, was approved by Finance and will be published in the June Sunburst.

Housekeeping is offering specials on cleaning and the Window Washing schedule is posted for June. Home Support Services resident volunteer to assist on their Home Health Advisory Council is Carol Jones.

Extras: Masks off! Paul Edelman steps into Chef Victor’s slot as Asst. Dining Manager and Jennifer Ramnarian is now Terrace GM. Tune in to the Dining Town Hall on 5/28 for further updates for on-line reservations and Memorial Day dining. The Charlestown Scholars’ Campaign surpassed our goal with $213,213 and the Scholars’ Ceremony was on 5/19 with great reviews and viewing continues at
