Bandwidth

Maximum amount of data transmitted over an internet connection in a given amount of time. Measure of how much information a network, a group of two or more devices that communicate between themselves, can transfer. Data moves from A to B just as water flows through pipes from a supply point to our faucets. Volume of information that can be sent over a connection in a measured amount of time – calculated in megabits per second (Mbps).
