The United Methodist Women is a group of Christian Women who are or have been associated with some United Methodist Church in the area, although this is not a requisite; all women are welcome. Members gather once a month for an hour of prayer and Christian fellowship. Programs very from mission studies to guest speakers and service projects. The group at Charlestown was founded on the story of the woman who accepted help in replacing a flat tire on her car but admonished her volunteer helper to lower the jack gently as her husband was sleeping in the back seat. Our goal is to be active Christians, not sleepers in the back seat.
