The Diversity & Inclusion Council invites you to a Conversation with Kirk Bloodsworth. Mr. Bloodsworth will be chronicling his monumental criminal justice milestone and journey of being sentenced to life in prison for a murder he didn’t commit. He is the first death row inmate exonerated by DNA evidence.
We encourage you to read Bloodsworth by Tim Junkin, which is Maryland Humanities 2018 One Maryland One Book selection and join us to get more of a personal perspective from Mr. Bloodsworth and learn more about his horrific ordeal. Light refreshments will be served.
