What? No Spring-y Easter purse yet???
Well, Charlestown’s boutique has a treat for you …
a display case at Cross Creek filled with purses of all sizes, shapes and colors … any one of them perfect for Easter services and on into Spring and Summer. The display and sale opens on April 1 (don’t be an April Fool and miss this opportunity), and continues through the end of the month.
The boutique has benefited this year from the donation of some fabulous new and like-new designer bags from the likes of Michael Kors, Coach, Kate Spade, Brahmin, Dooney and Bourke, and other top end labels … much to the delight of Charlestown and outside shoppers and their wallets.
But a purse doesn’t have to have a designer label to be beautiful, useful, or a great bargain. A shopper with a sense of humor might enjoy carrying a nifty-looking Dooney and Bourke “knock off” decorated with the distinctive inverted D and B initials translated into D and P in gorgeous pastel hues against a distinctive pale green background. And there are smaller bags for those of us who make onlookers want to ask “purse, where are you going with that woman?” when we carry something too large.
Let’s all spring into Spring carrying a handsome handbag, sporting a classic cross body, or just having fun with something cute to hold your wallet, sunglasses, and cell phone. Get over to Cross Creek and have a look!! (Purchasing details are posted in the display.)
The Ladies’ Boutique is located on the terrace level of Herbert’s Run, and is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
