Don’t let those blue skies fool you! It may look balmy, but it’s still January, and right now my window thermometer is reading a pretty chilly 40 degrees! It’s true that we are blessed with long halls and “climate controlled” bridges to offer opportunities to get in that daily walk without actually braving the great outdoors, but Charlestown can still be a pretty
drafty place. It’s hard to maintain the warmer temps we achieve in our apartments in the big, high-ceiling-ed public areas, the wide entrances into our restaurants and bars can invite a wind tunnel effect, and the bridges can be downright breezy. It is definitely sweater weather here at Charlestown.
So, what’s a woman to do?? Well, whether you prefer a soft, bulky pullover, a sleek sweater set, or a comfy cardigan, The Ladies Boutique offers you an opportunity to find just what you’re looking for at a bargain price. The shop is just bursting with cardigans, coat sweaters, turtlenecks, and comfy pullover styles in a wide variety of knits and weights … and a wonderful new inventory of blouses and tops to wear with them!
And if you don’t have a coat that keeps you warm enough in these January temperatures, the boutique also has some lovely winter coats and jackets!
Come on in a take a look around! The shop will be open on January 17 and January 24, but will be closed on January 31 and February 7 after the February Treasure Sale.
The Ladies Boutique is located on the terrace level of Herbert’s Run, and is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
