According to some recent on-line research, there are approximately 20 consignment shops near Charlestown. They sport names like Vogue Revisited, ReDeux Apparel and the Uptown Cheapskate. Most, if not all, are within a less-than 30-minute drive from our parking lot. So, it’s true … Charlestown’s Ladies Boutique does not have a lock on pre-loved clothing at fabulous prices in the Ellicott City/Catonsville/Baltimore area.
However, Charlestown shoppers don’t have to drive to the boutique; our inventory is precisely in their wardrobe wheelhouse, and the prices are even better than the competition’s. In addition, none of the shops I looked at seemed to cater to mature women, and many of them carry not only men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, but housewares, linens, shoes, and a variety of other items.
So if you don’t want to drive all over town and schlepp through all the stuff you don’t want to buy, the Ladies’ Boutique was meant for you. And do we have an inventory of fall clothing to die for … right now!
Our boutique elves have been unpacking, vetting, touching up, steaming, and generally treating new inventory items the way they are always treated at the boutique … with TLC … because we want you to have the best of the best, and every item needs to look great!
So come on in and see what’s new for fall. Bring a friend, a daughter, a sister or cousin … you’ll be thrilled with the terrific selection of autumn-colored apparel on our shelves and racks.

The Ladies’ Boutique is located on the terrace level of Herbert’s Run, and is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
