I’m happy to report that the Scholars’ Fund surpassed the goal of $150,000 AND last year’s record-breaking total. Our current count is $173,652 which will grow a few dollars until the final cutoff.
Again, thank you for your support and please come and enjoy the Scholarship Ceremony this Wednesday at 7PM in the Erickson Center under the Chesapeake Restaurant. It’s a wonderful, uplifting experience for us residents knowing we helped these young people to begin their college careers with some monetary help from us. There is still some suspense as the Special Named Scholar Award winners will be announced for the first time at the Ceremony. Take care and I hope to see you there!
