NEWS
Continuing Care Covid, Influenza, Respiratory Illness Update
Due to an uptick in Covid and other respiratory illnesses specifically within Continuing Care, we are now highly recommending visitors to wear a surgical mask at all times within all of Continuing Care. We currently have an uptick in cases in our Wilton Overlook neighborhoods.
If you are in need of a mask, please do not hesitate to request one at either front desk. With the health and well-being of our residents as our highest priority, we kindly ask for your partnership in taking extra precautions during visits.
Visitation Guidelines:
- Please refrain from visiting if you are actively sick with any respiratory illness.
- If you test positive for Covid or Influenza, please do not visit for at least 7 days. If you remain symptomatic after day 7, we ask that you extend your time away to 10 days.
- If you absolutely must visit while experiencing symptoms, we ask that you be mindful of all residents and wear a mask at all times to limit the spread of illness.
- We are kindly requesting all visitors at this time to mask while in continuing care buildings.
We will keep residents and families informed if any specific neighborhoods within the continuing care enter outbreak status. Our team continues to follow best practices in infection prevention, treatment, and quarantining of staff and residents when appropriate.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and ongoing partnership in helping us protect the health of both our residents and staff.
