Transition to Continuing Care and Move-Out Guides Available

Trina Butler, Move-Out Coordinator in Finance has provided us with two new guides to help with the move-out process.

The Move-Out Handbook is to help residents and family members handle the steps necessary when a resident moves out of independent living.

The Transition to Continuing Care Services Handbook provides the steps necessary when a resident moves from an independent living apartment to a continuing care residence. Cara Miranda, Health Care Counselor in Continuing Care, is also a helpful contact for residents moving into Continuing Care.

Both of these guide are available online on this website and on MyErickson/Finance/Move Out Services. A limited supply of print copies is available in the Finance Office.

AARP Fraud Alert Keeps Us Informed About Current Scams

AARP periodically issues fraud and scam alerts on its website. These scams come mostly through email, phone and web and can sound very convincing.
