According to the American Diabetes Association 100 Million adults have Pre-Diabetes and 81% do not know it! In the US. 2 out of 5 adults have Pre-diabetes. That means about 800 Charlestown residents may have Pre-Diabetes, and an estimated 640 residents would be unaware of having pre-diabetes, but because of our excellent health care center at Charlestown, that number is probably lower.

General Services Dumpster Day July 8

General Services is sponsoring a Dumpster Day in Cross Creek parking lot, for residents on Wednesday July 8 from 8:20 – 10:30 AM. Residents can bring their large items to be disposed of. There is no charge unless a resident needs staff help to bring items from an apartment to the dumpster. If assistance is needed, contact General Services at 443-297-3783 between June 23 – July 7, 2026.
