A Charlestown resident received a scam telephone call. The caller ID said Erickson Living with phone number 410-314-2702, which seems like other Charlestown numbers.
The resident verified with Erickson Advantage that they would “never make such a call.”
Be careful when answering the phone, even when the caller ID and the caller’s number appear legitimate. Scammers can spoof caller data and IDs. It’s always safer to initiate a call to a known number than to answer a call from someone who might be pretending to be someone else.
