Incandescent light bulbs and LED light bulbs are the easiest to dispose of, because they can be put in the household trash. The amount of metal and glass in these light bulbs are too small and complicated to remove through recycling. Charlestown House Keeping does not recycle these types of bulbs.
CFL Light Bulb
Many people throw away CFL light bulbs, but they should be recycled. They use tiny microchips to conduct electrical current. These include trace amounts of heavy
metals such as lead and arsenic. Place on your shelf and call Maintenance for pick up.
