A call from manager Peggy Romenesko prompted me to visit the Ladies’ Boutique on Tuesday morning … and what a treat!
I didn’t buy the item Peggy called me about (a wonderful navy Bob Macke summer jacket; I loved it, but it wasn’t “me”. However, I did find two fantastic tops to enjoy wearing right through summer into fall.
The shop’s shelves and racks are absolutely brimming with goodies right now … numerous crisp blouses (and several airy, lightweight cardigans) in a variety of black and white prints, stripes and trims, shelves filled with both gorgeous and practical tees in a huge selection of colors and prints, and summer pants, both short and long! The inventory actually is quite stunning, and I don’t know where a shopper would get more bang for her buck. And … good news! Beachwear, including a selection of brand-new swim suits, will debut on May 5th.
Meanwhile, Peggy’s Showcase of Purses display in Cross Creek has been booming, with sales topping $1,500 … and the display continues, with weekly additions, through the 30th of April! The case is filled with great finds, so get on over and take a look! Who knows, you may find the purse of your dreams!
The Ladies’ Boutique is located on the terrace level of Herbert’s Run, and is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We love it when you bring your own bag and help us support the environment!
