Charlestown shoppers who are looking for a little zip in their holiday wardrobe, suggestions for something special for Santa Hubby to put under the tree, or a Christmas treat for a friend will want to take a good look at the movable feast of holiday goodies from the Ladies’ Boutique being displayed in the Shortline window throughout December.
Whether you’re searching for something pretty but practical, or a bit of holiday glam, you’ll find that these items are the shop’s “Top Drawer” holiday goodies. The displays will be changed weekly and feature a rotation of gorgeous puffy vests (one covered in black “fur” that is softer than a kitten’s ear) and complementing tops in holiday colors, a wealth of beautiful purses and handbags
(many of them new, including three fabulous Michael Kors bags), and an array of scarves and jewelry. Two different “outfits” (or “ensemble,” as the French say) will be highlighted each week; instructions for purchasing holiday items will be prominently displayed in the window.
At the same time, the shop’s December inventory will feature lots of glitter and glam for celebrating the farewell of 2024 … a lovely array of New Year’s Eve tops in creamy whites or metallic gold or silver. What better way to usher in the New Year than with something absolutely beautiful that didn’t break the bank?? “Bonus,” as my friend, Jenny, says!
And remember, there are just four more shopping Tuesdays at the boutique before Christmas (the shop is closed on December 24th!) Shelves and racks are filled with beautiful holiday sweaters and tops, indoor jackets of every sort, and lots of dresses. Come in and get something pretty for yourself or someone you love, and check out the outdoor vests and warm sleepwear!
The Ladies’ Boutique is located on the terrace level of Herbert’s Run, and is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We now accept payment by credit card for sales of $30.00 or more. We’d love it if you’d bring your own bag and help us keep plastic out of our landfills and waterways!
