Breast Cancer Survivors: You’re Not Alone

Have you faced breast cancer? We understand the journey can be challenging, and sometimes, sharing with others who’ve walked a similar path can make all the difference.

Charlestown residents are considering starting a Breast Cancer Support Group, and we want to hear from you! The group is intended for those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, undergoing treatment or are now survivors. What we’re envisioning:

A safe, compassionate space to share experiences
Emotional support from fellow survivors
A sense of community among residents
NOT a source of medical advice, but a place for understanding and hope

Interested? Join us for an informational meeting:
Date: September 16, 2024
Time: 1:00 p.m.
Location: Charlestown Square Classroom 116

Can’t make it? Contact Ann MacKay to express your interest. Contact information can be found in the Resident Directory, available online in MyErickson.

We will also have a table at the Clubs, Groups, and Organizations Expo on Friday, September 13 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Together, we can create a supportive community for breast cancer survivors at Charlestown.
