Erickson Advantage, administered by UnitedHealthcare, will no longer be offered beginning in 2027.

This change does not reflect the quality of care or support associated with Erickson Advantage, which served members for more than 20 years and consistently earned Medicare’s highest 5-star ratings. Rather, it is the result of broader shifts in the Medicare Advantage marketplace, as many insurers nationwide reassess their plan offerings.

For more than two decades, Erickson Advantage has been an important part of life in many of our communities. We recognize that many residents know friends and neighbors who have benefited from the program and may have questions about what this change means for them.

A detailed communication has been shared with Erickson Advantage plan holders, outlining next steps and offering assistance in selecting a new healthcare insurance coverage plan for 2027 during Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period.

While the availability of Medicare coverage options will change for 2027, Erickson Senior Living’s commitment to your health and well-being remains as strong as ever. Importantly, this change affects only the Erickson Advantage Medicare Advantage plan. Erickson Health Medical Group, our physicians and care teams, and the health services and community-based support programs available throughout our communities will continue to serve residents in 2027 and beyond.
