A Dramatic Reading of the Declaration of Independence

Radioactive: The Women of Three Mile Island [Documentary]

Wednesday, July 22, 2026

1 – 3 PM

Auditorium

ALL WELCOME! Light refreshments and conversation will follow.

The program is FREE to all. The dramatic reading is presented by the Studio 7-1-5 Readers Theatre, a workshop subsidiary of the Little Theatre Company. Radioactive: The Women of Three Mile Island is a documentary based on the stories of four indomitable homemakers who “Petitioned for Redress” from the nuclear industry after the 1979 Three Mile Island nuclear accident, exposing one of the worst cover-ups in U.S. history and its aftermath. The case went all the way to the Supreme Court. Their fight demonstrates the underlying principles of the Declaration of Independence, that of natural rights, popular consent, and equality (“life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”).
