Why and How to Talk about Race: How Talking about Race Can Help

Friday, January 12, 2024

10 AM – Noon

Art Gallery in Charlestown Square

All are welcome!

Join us as we begin to explore the Great Course’s How to Talk about Race, presented by Anita Foeman, Professor Emeritus of Communication and Media at West Chester University. We will draw on other resources to examine what is meant by white supremacy and the impact that it has on us all.

In Session 1, How Talking about Race Can Help, we will look at skills and concepts to build effectiveness and confidence in speaking across differences. Join us for a great opportunity for self-exploration and practical skill building to shape a more harmonious community, nation and world.
