Marian Tongier
Marian admits to having been an analyst at NSA but won’t expand on that. She did say an injury forced her retirement and arriving at Charlestown in the 1990’s she found her way to the LTC and the play selection committee. She was a great fit because she is deliciously witty, is a keen observer of people, and has a distinctive voice that is reminiscent of comedian Sel- ma Diamond. Finding age-appropriate plays for our commu- nity was difficult so she turned to writing skits and plays which featured characters our audiences could relate to. Her most recent plays performed by LTC were Martha’s Party, The Riverview Rest Home, and now, Tuesday Foursome

The LTC meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 1:30 pm in the auditorium. It now will produce two shows a year in the fall and spring. Casting is done with two scheduled, open auditions. Besides actors, the group always needs backstage help with sound and light, scenery, costumes, publicity and ticket sales.

The Little Theatre Company Incorporated is a 501C(3) nonprofit organization and we welcome charitable contributions to enable us to create quality theatrical productions for the Charlestown Community.
