Open to Charlestown residents who are affiliated with UMBC (retired faculty, staff and their spouses, alumni, parents of alumni, etc.) The group will promote social, cultural, and educational goals by sponsoring events and maintaining ties with UMBC.

A poetry reading and conversation with Professor Deluty who treats these themes with humor, insight, and sensitivity that will evoke personal responses based on our collective memory and common experiences.
Dr. Deluty’s poems and essays have been published in The Wall Street Journal, The Baltimore Sun, The Pegasus Review, Modern Haiku, Jewish Currents, Journal of Poetry Therapy, and many other newspapers, journals and anthologies. Parent/Child, Teacher/Student, Doctor/Patient, recently published, is his sixty-sixth book.
