Meeting Frequency & Location
The semi-annual meetings are now scheduled for the Charlestown Square Gallery at 11:00 am-noon in the spring and fall. Other meetings as needed.
The Maryland Continuing Care Residents Association has a Chapter at Charlestown. MaCCRA is the only organization which is solely dedicated to protecting and advancing the interests of residents of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). We support, empower, and better the lives of residents in Maryland’s continuing care retirement communities through advocacy and education. Charlestown becomes the 18th chapter in Maryland. Membership is $20 per year for an individual and $30 for a couple. The membership year is July to July.

MaCCRA Day in Annapolis on February 6
All are invited to ride the free shuttle to MaCCRA Day in Annapolis on:

This is our chance to visit the District 12 Legislators and hear from Barbara Brocato, MaCCRA’s Legislative Liaison. We will have a complimentary shuttle this year thanks to the Resident Council who budgeted funds.
Pack a lunch – wear your name tag – bring a photo ID. You will go through security, so don’t bring anything that can be confiscated (ex: small knife.)
