MaCCRA (Charlestown Chapter)
The Maryland Continuing Care Residents Association has a Chapter at Charlestown. MaCCRA is the only organization which is solely dedicated to protecting and advancing the interests of residents of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). We support, empower, and better the lives of residents in Maryland’s continuing care retirement communities through advocacy and education. Charlestown becomes the 18th chapter in Maryland.
Membership is $20 per year for an individual and $30 for a couple. The membership year is July to July. Contact Ann MacKay for information or check the website at maccra.org. There is a private Google Group that is used to share information about the group.
MaCCRA is affiliated with the National Continuing Care Residents Association (NaCCRA). The current President is Ann MacKay, Charlestown resident. Membership is $25 per year for an individual and $45 for a couple. The website is naccra.com

Pack a lunch – wear your name tag – bring a photo ID. You will go through security, so don’t bring anything that can be confiscated (ex: small knife.)
