Supports the activities of the Charlestown Ruth Houck Library. Satellite locations include: Cross Creek Puzzle Room / Library, Fountain Hill TV Lounge, Atrium Lounge and Charlestown Square Card/TV Room.
The Library Committee meets as needed.
The Ruth Houck Memorial Resident Library is open for browsing and borrowing reading materials, Monday through Friday. For your convenience, duplicates of books and magazines are placed in the Charlestown Square Card/TV Room, Atrium Lounge, and Cross Creek TV Room. In addition to the 7,000 volume library, you may use the Baltimore County Public Library Book Mobile, which stops outside of Courtyard Crossing and Cross Creek Station on alternate Fridays. Times and locations can be found on the bulletin boards. Resident volunteers staff the Library. If you have books that you would like to donate, please contact the Treasure Sale.
