Fireside Artists of Charlestown
Joni Guhne, Leader
Sandy Mack, Treasurer
In 2010 a small group of Charlestown residents hung some paintings in the Fireside dining room. They became the Fireside Artists. Today, with more than 30 members, the Fireside Artists are residents who enjoy every artistic endeavor: drawing, painting, sculpting, and making jewelry. They currently install a new show in the Gallery in April and October.
Everyone is welcome.

Fireside Artists News: April 2024
We will enjoy our next meeting at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 9 in our regular room – CTS116 (down the hall from the swimming pool entrance).
Our guest speaker is Charlie McKee, who will explore for us the wide, wide world of “paint brushes.”
We are entering one of our busiest seasons: We install our Spring Gallery Show at 9 a.m., Friday, April 26. Then our families and friends are invited to join us for a catered reception from 3 to 5 p.m. that Saturday, April 27, to celebrate the new display.
On Wednesday, May 15, we journey to the outstanding BMA for a tour on our own, followed by lunch at Gertrude’s Restaurant. Contact Betty Caldwell for details..
But wait, that’s not all. From 2 to 4 p.m. on June 15, we will conduct our second Caton Woods Art Show and reception. You are invited to submit a piece of art that will fit into a table-top easel. Contact Lynn Kochis for details.
Our April meeting is the final Spring general meeting. We meet again on Tuesday, September 10.
