Feel free to share your responses; email or send them through inter-community mail.
• Father’s Day Variety TV Special: John Legend & his family will be hosting this special with appearances from various guest artists on June 21st 8pm on ABC.
• Self Portrait: Look yourself in the mirror and attempt to draw a self-portrait. If you have someone around have them try to draw you and you draw them. This should definitely brighten your day.
• Gratitude: Start a gratitude journal by writing 5 things a day you are grateful for in a notebook. My daughters and I do this and it is not only fun to write, it is amazing to read in the future. Suggest to your loved ones that they do the same and if you feel comfortable share with one another.
• Write a Play: Write a play featuring your loved ones. You can even act it out with them via zoom or just write it up and give it to them on a special occasion.
• In Hall Sing Along: Host a Sing along for your hall. Give residents on your floor copies of music, have everyone open their doors at the set time and sing along. Make sure to maintain social distancing and wear masks. This could be a great way to be “Safer at Home” while also getting a little socializing time in. If you need copies of music we will be happy to make those copies for you.
• Post-Quarantine Bucket List: Create a list of things you want to do or accomplish once restrictions have been lifted. Make sure to add a visit to us on your list!
