Keeping You Engaged & Informed

• Moving Forward: As we move forward, many departments are returning to regular responsibilities. As a result of this, the “Connector Tips” will conclude with Vol. #15. Any remaining updates, prize winners, and journal questions of the week will appear in the Sunburst.
• Trivia: Week 2 Trivia was distributed Thursday, June 18th; it’s not too late to sign up!
• Crafty Creations Challenge: The next package of crafty items will be distributed on Wednesday, July 1st. It’s not too late to sign up if you’d like to participate.
• Christmas in July: We are still holding this event and the winners will be showcased in the Sunburst. Get those doors decorated’ and let us know when you are ready to have your door photograph. You can also take your own photo and send it to Community Resources. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, July 28th as Christmas in July is typically celebrated the 25th or 28th.
• Name that Executive Team Member: The participant forms have been distributed. If you registered and did not receive a copy, please contact Stephanie as there were some delivery issues. Last day to submit is June 30th.

 Virtual Vacations:

Traveling this summer is not as realistic as it usually is, so below are some fun virtual vacations for you to check out. Enjoy and don’t forget the sunscreen.

• Archaeological Trip: Visit the Grand Canyon and learn about archaeology along the Colorado River.
• Visit the Holy Land: Take a quick trip to Jerusalem and see Holy Sepulcher, the Western Wall, Old City markets, Mount of Olives and more.

Non – Computer Related Activities:

• Weekly Writing/Journal Topic of the Week: What has your volunteer service been like throughout your life? How has service impacted you? How has your service impacted others?
Feel free to share your responses; email or send them through inter-community mail.
• Library: Visit the Charlestown Ruth Houck (Literary) Library that re-opened on Monday, June 29th. Hours will be 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and the maximum occupancy is two (2) people. Please make sure to follow all of the posted guidelines before entering. Now might be a good time to read some books about celebrating Independence Day.
